With the holy month of Ramadan going on and everyone wanting to try the best food during Iftaar, MunchyMumbai is here to introduce some new places in Mumbai serving lip-smacking, flavourful biryani! Read on..

1.The Bombay Curry

It is a recently opened restaurant & delivery kitchen nestled in by lanes of Khar. They outsource their masalas right from Lucknow to maintain the authenticity of their food, after all these efforts how could you doubt their exceptionally tasting food. The original Nawabi taste of Lucknowi biryani right here in Mumbai is possible only thanks to The Bombay Curry. They serve two different types of biryani – Hyderabadi & Lucknowi, each having its own distinct flavour. Since we enjoy a bit of spice in our food, our go-to order is their Gosht Hyderabadi Biryani.

2.Global Biryani Darbar

As the name itself suggests, they are biryani specialists serving around 51 different varieties of biryani, no kidding! Who would have thought even vegetarian biryani could have almost 10 types. Vegetarian? Chicken? Mutton? Seafood? You name the type of biryani you want & they already have it. The biryani is cooked with perfection and perfect for an Iftaari feast! Try their Veg Handi Biryani & Chicken Dum Biryani. They have two outlets in Mumbai – Vile parle & Goregaon.

3.BEHROUZ BIRYANI

We all have heard about Behrouz Biryani & the hype! This delivery kitchen has 37 outlets around the city. Right from Subz-e-falafel Biryani to Lazeez Bhuna Murg Biryani, to Butter Chicken Biryani their variety never fails to impress us and the taste is perfect. Its super value for money and their leak-proof packaging is definitely worth a mention.

4.White Peacock

Another newbie in Khar with a beautiful chic ambience serving delicious North Indian cuisine serves some yum biryani too. We are still drooling over their Chicken Tikka Biryani, aromatic basmati rice over some delicious & tender chicken tikkas. If you enjoy tikkas like us, we highly recommend trying their Chicken Tikka/Malai Tikka Biryani.

5.AMBROSIA’S KAKA KAKI

Kaka & Kaki, is a Bohri restaurant and the owners’ immense love for food, their secret recipes, and infectious spirit lead to this little venture. It would be an understatement to define the taste of their biryani. The special Bohri biryani is flavourful with delicately spiced chicken and a treat to the tastebuds indeed. Their biryani is available in paneer, chicken & mutton variants.

Craving biryani already? Go ahead and order some for you, family & friends this Ramdaan season and let us know which one your favourite was! All of these places are available on Zomato & Swiggy for more information 😊
