Deliciously moist, & healthy Rava Cake without an oven. It does not contain any butter, maida or refined sugar yet tastes SO GOOD. It’s simply perfect to satiate your sugar cravings without making you feel guilty, have it for your evening snack or a post dinner dessert, you will love it.

Detailed Recipe

  • For the batter, in a mixing bowl - add 1 cup rava, 1/2 cup wheat flour (atta), 1 cup curd, 1 cup milk & mix well

  • Cover the batter & let it rest for 20 mins<

  • After 20 mins, add 1 cup of brown sugar/stevia/jaggery/honey, 1/2 cup oil & mix until the batter is lump-free

  • Next, add 1/2 tbsp cardamom powder, 1/2 tbsp baking soda, 3/4th tbsp baking powder, 1/2 tbsp vanilla essence, 1/4th tbsp salt & mix well

  • Add chopped walnuts or almonds for a nice crunch

  • Grease your cooking container with oil & add butter paper or parchment at the bottom. You can also sprinkle wheat flour to in the container to avoid the cake from sticking. Pour the batter & cook on low heat for 40 mins.

  • Lastly, do the toothpick check & once done let it cool.

  • In case you want to make this a microwave oven, preheat it to 180 degrees and then bake it for about 20-25 mins until a toothpick inserted comes clean. Enjoy it warm for best taste! Hope you guys like this recipe and do give it a try.
